The early phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe kept fans around the world hooked for more than a decade. Even after the conclusion of the legendary Infinity Saga, excitement hasn’t faded. Fans are already looking forward to the next big phase, which will reportedly bring Robert Downey Jr. back to the screen as Doctor Doom in the upcoming Avengers movies – Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

Production for Avengers: Doomsday has already wrapped up, but viewers will need to wait until the winters of 2026 to see Robert Downey Jr. make his grand return in the Marvel lineup.
