The American movie focuses on three close friends who created a fictitious figure named Ricky Stanicky to hold them responsible for their wrongdoing over the previous 20 years. But now their wives are growing suspicious and insist on meeting him, which puts the three in a tight spot. They try to solve the problem with whatever it takes but fail every time. They at last choose to bring Stanicky to life by hiring a disreputable actor.
Amazon MGM Studios’s film was filmed in February and March 2023 in Melbourne, Australia. Ricky Stanicky stars John Cena as Ricky Stanicky, Zac Efron, Jermaine Fowler, Andrew Santino, Lex Scott Davis, William H. Macy, and Anja Savcic.
