The new TV Specials of the Quintessential Quintuplets will be available on Bilibili Global. However, the streaming service might not be accessible in every country or region. In that case, you’d have to use a VPN to watch the new special on Bilibili Global.
The special will be released in two parts. The first part will come out on Saturday, September 2 and the release date of the second part is September 9, 2023.
The anime debuted in 2019 and received an overwhelmingly positive response. The second season of the anime came out in 2021, followed by the anime movie, The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie, which concluded the story. Plot
The Quintessential Quintuplets is a harem romantic comedy about a poor but brilliant high schooler Fuutaro Uesugi who gets roped into coaching the Nakano quintuplets. As he begins to spend more time with them and gets to know each of the sisters, he begins to care for them who, in turn, all eventually fall in love with him.
But what isn’t revealed until later is that Fuutaro had once met one of the Nakano sisters as a child and that girl is his first love. However, he doesn’t know which of the five sisters he actually met in their childhood.
The story is not only full of romance between the main male lead and the five love interests but there are also many wholesome bonding moments between the sisters that make this story so different from other harem anime. Their love for each other and how they always stand by each other despite all of them being in love with the same man are some of the many charms of this story.
The Quintessential Quintuplets Specials will adapt some scenes from the manga that were not included in the TV anime and the following anime movie.
