Toriyama Sensei introduced Broly, The Legendary Saiyan, who appears every 1000 years first in 2018. His version of Broly differed from the original Broly only in terms of their background story. Broly is one of the most favorite characters who was placed in the hall of fame in Dragon Ball Z.
The old Broly is shown to be a brute with immense power. In comparison, the new Broly is shown to be more sensible and powerful. Broly continues to grow powerful as the fight progresses and can take out Goku and Vegeta in their Super Saiyan God Blue form.

4) The Great Ape Oozaru
The legendary Super Saiyan The Great Ape form looks similar to a Golden Great Ape Oozaru, but its fur is emerald in color. Similar to the Legendary Super Saiyan form when Broly smashed his crown, and his head hair was spiked up.
Broly’s Oozaru is the strongest in Dragon Ball Franchise as compared to the rest of the Saiyan warriors. His Oozaru is able to preserve his ability to reason and stay sane in this form since he can converse.
Broly’s Oozaru is also shown to have a dense aura and intense bloodlust. His size affecting his speed and agility is the only reason he is in fourth place in our list of All Broly Transformations.
3) Rageful Frenzy
Broly has a frenzied form which is very powerful. He can transform into this form due to his short temper and incredible prowess. This transformation, although keeping his hair straight like a Super Saiyan and providing him with a powerful, dense, green aura and yellow lightning sparks.
Added to this form (like in Vegeta SSJ 2 vs. Beerus, where Vegeta generated blue sparks of lightning from his body due to at least a decade of intense training) Broly’s this transformation yet looks somewhat human compared to others.
This form causes much excruciating pain to Broly as it makes his attacks powerful but makes him more vulnerable to his own wrath. As his power keeps increasing, his body gives him more pain, which in turn adds to his wrath.
It is a vicious cycle that Goku helped him get out of with training. This form was truly toll-inducing for Broly, putting it in third place in our list of All Broly Transformations.
2) Super Saiyan
Old Broly transformed into SSJ because of the elimination of his father as compared to Akira Sensei’s Broly, who can control it at will. Broly’s powers completely evolved into something short of indestructible as he transformed into SSJ.
Broly has a massive burst of dense green aura that envelops him. He can easily take out Goku and Vegeta in their Super Saiyan God Blue form and deals immense amounts of damage to both of them and, of course, their battlefield.
Broly in SSJ can easily defeat Freeza in his Golden Form and other major antagonists, including Jiren, Hit, Garnolah, and Janemba in terms of power. All these feats put this transformation in second place in our list of All Broly Transformations.
1) Legendary Super Saiyan
At last, in the first place, we have Broly’s Legendary Super Saiyan Transformation. This form transforms his hair into a bright green shade and along with a much stronger, denser aura.
Broly gets more bulked-up muscles which in no way affect his speed, and increases all of his stats to a Legendary Super Saiyan. Broly was born with a base strength of 10,000, which only went higher as he trained.
He is stated by Toriyama sensei to be more powerful than a God Of Destruction itself. In this form, he is able to take on both Goku and Vegeta in their Super Saiyan God Blue transformation.
The sheer strength and aura boost Broly receives in this form is compared to Goku were in; if Broly’s Frenzy form is equivalent to Goku SSJ, then his Legendary Super Saiyan Form will rival the strength of SSJ 4/Super Saiyan God. That is a major power boost for one transformation.
Goku vs Broly: Who is stronger in Dragon Ball
Broly, as defined by his Dragon Ball Super film origin, is more similar to an in-canon version of Super Saiyan 4: the infinite power (and wrath) of a Great Ape housed in a human form. That is, without a doubt, a vast amount of power for a Saiyan warrior to possess – and, sure, it is arguably an insatiable reserve of force that Goku lacks.
But that doesn’t matter because Goku would have the speed, precision, and power to escape any of Broly’s assaults and return to the original Dragon Ball Z: Broly film by punching straight through the berserker Saiyan.
Goku’s growth through Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan Blue, and eventually Ultra Instinct happens through a slow but sure shift in approach: taking the enormous emotional force of Super Saiyan and mixing it with zen-like control and calm.
Is Broly Stronger than Jiren?
Broly vs Jiren would be a terrible destructive battle between two completely broken powerhouses and a treat for the fans to see. Based on the fights that took place between Goku, Vegeta, and others and Broly and Jiren, Broly would come out victorious.
Although his power albeit immense, Broly’s growth factor puts him in a gigantic leap against Jiren.
In terms of sheer power, Jiren has more power on standby than Broly. However, Broly, in his Legendary Saiyan Form, could easily put Jiren on his knees in a full-fledged fight if not put him on all fours. Broly is a Saiyan with unlimited Potential, just like Goku making him an easy winner in this battle.
Can Broly obtain Ultra Instinct (UI) in the future?
With the power shown by the Legendary Super Saiyan in Dragon Ball Super: Broly, there’s little question he can achieve Ultra Instinct. While controlling his power remains the most difficult challenge, Broly might readily learn this with time.
The finale of the Super movie would also seem to foreshadow a future role for Broly. Thus, increasing the likelihood that he will reach the Ultra Instinct level.
