Black Clover manga is an ongoing series and, up until now, has presented us with unique characters; among them, some have extraordinary magic and skills related to it. In chapter 228 of the series, the term ‘Arcane Stage Master‘ was introduced. The term refers to the people who possess the power that cannot be classified under normal Magic Stages.
The series is written and illustrated by Yuki Tabata and is published by Shueisha Inc under Jump Comics. As of January 24, 2021, the series has a total of 27 volumes and sold over 11 million copies. The series also has its own Anime under the same name; there are four seasons in total, and the fourth season is set to end on March 30, 2021.
The story follows Asta and Yuno, two orphaned boys who make their way through Clover Kingdom’s Order of the Magic Knights and aim to become the Magic Emperor. While achieving their aim, they go on various adventures and encounter numerous powerful foes and friends alike.
Top 10 Strongest Arcane Stage Mages in Black Clover
10) Grey
Grey is one of the strongest Arcane stage mages in the Black Clover. She is from the Clover Kingdom’s Black Bull squad; her real name is unknown. Her main magic ability is Transformation Magic, which grants her the ability to take on the form of other humans and objects.
Even though she lacks the same power as her peers, her versatility and utility make up for it.
Grey is ranked as an Arcane Stage Mage as she can alter inanimate objects and is ranked 10 in the list of arcane stage mages as she is unable to defeat any devils or Triad members on her own.
9) Secre Swallowtail
Secre Swallowtail was a former servant of Prince Lemiel Silvamillion Clover, the first Magic Emperor. She is a noblewoman and a top tier support magic user.
Her main ability is Sealing Magic, and this magic attribute makes her capable of closing and opening objects; she can also use Healing Magic.
Due to Forbidden Magic altering her magic, Secre is ranked as an Arcane Stage mage. Even though she can’t win against any dark disciples, she is ranked above Grey as she was able to seal the First Magic King, which is not an easy feat.
Still, she is considered to be one of the strongest Arcane Stage Mage in Black Clover.
8) Vanessa Enoteca
Vanessa Enoteca is a witch from the Witches’ Forest and also a 3rd Class Junior Magic Knight of the Clover Kingdom’s Black Bull squad. Her main magic ability is Thread Magic, which grants her the ability to manipulate thread.

Even though she has defeated the witch queen once and is one of the Arcane Stage Mage, Thread Magic doesn’t gain her any favored outcome against stronger foes, and she has to rely on her teammates. So, she is ranked eight and has the potential to go further.
