The much-beloved fantasy seinen manga, Delicious in Dungeon by Ryoko Kui got its long-awaited anime adaptation in the Winter 2024 season, thanks to Netflix’s new venture. The anime premiered on January 3, 2024, and is listed for 24 episodes. With the first two episodes already out and the third one coming, we’re here to discuss Delicious in Dungeon Episode 3 spoilers and release date.
The first two episodes of Delicious in Dungeon are the adaptation of the first five chapters of the manga. Episode 1 adapted Chapters 1 and 2, featuring two recipes: Hot Pot and Tart, while Episode 2 adapted Chapters 3 to 5, focusing on three recipes: Roast Basilisk, Omelet, and Kakiage respectively.
Judging by this, we can safely assume that Delicious in Dungeon Episode 3 will also adopt a similar number of pages. In Episode 3, we’ll see the recipe of Living Armor. This recipe takes two chapters instead of one, Chapters 6 and 7.Â

Delicious in Dungeon Episode 3 Spoilers
Delicious in Dungeon Episode 3 will be the adaptation of Chapters 6 and 7 of the manga and the following things will happen in the chapter:
- The episode will start with our heroes entering the dungeon and taking a shortcut. When the decoration on Laios’ sword comes off, he recalls his first adventure as an amateur adventurer with his sister Farlyn.
- They joined a gold-stripping group and came across a room full of armored statues. But the armored statues soon came to life and defeated everyone, including Laios. This gave him a fear of armor for some time.
- Marcille, Chilchuck, and Senshi say that the living armor could be a product of magic. Laios expresses his interest in eating the living armor but his companions say one cannot eat metal.
- The group ends up in the same room full of living armor and is driven away. They plan on Marcille, Chilchuck, and Senshi being decoys while Laios searches for the one controlling them.
- Laios ends up in a room where he finds a huge animal-like armored soldier with a shield. After being overpowered by the living armor, Laios realizes that the soldier is protecting the shield because it contains eggs.
- He outsmarts the soldier and destroys its armor, finding small mollusk-like monsters in every joint of the armor. Then using the shield to distract the living armor from his group, Laios joins them and explains his finding.
- At his request, Senshi cooks several items of the living armor. In the end, Laios takes one of the living armor’s abandoned swords and finds one monster inside it.
Delicious in Dungeon Episode 3 Release Date
Delicious in Dungeon is airing weekly every Thursday on Netflix and Episode 3 will be released this Thursday, on January 18, 2024.
