Story: What Is Jujutsu Kaisen Execution About?
The movie weaves two of JJK’s most pivotal storylines into a single cinematic event.
Part 1: The Shibuya Incident (Reimagined)
The story begins on Halloween night, as civilians are trapped under the mysterious veil that covers Shibuya. Gojo rushes to save them, unaware that it’s a trap designed by Kenjaku to seal him inside the Prison Realm.
As chaos erupts, Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, Nanami, and the other sorcerers fight waves of cursed spirits. We witness the climactic battles—Sukuna’s destruction, Mahito’s twisted evolution, and the fall of beloved characters—in a remastered, extended form.
Part 2: The Culling Game Begins
The aftermath of Shibuya leaves the Jujutsu world fractured. With Gojo sealed and Tokyo in ruins, Kenjaku initiates The Culling Game, a deadly tournament forcing sorcerers across Japan to fight to the death.
Yuta Okkotsu returns from overseas as a special-grade sorcerer—and shockingly, his first mission is to execute Yuji Itadori. Meanwhile, Megumi Fushiguro begins his search for his sister, Tsumiki, who’s been drawn into the game.
This film sets up the tone for Season 3: a world without Gojo, fractured alliances, and the rise of dark new players.
