One of the world’s best-selling artists of all time, Ronstadt has written, recorded, and sold more than 100 million records. She published her autobiography, Simple Dreams: A Musical Memoir, in 2013. It served as the basis for the 2019 documentary Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice.
Linda decided to take retirement from the industry after working for 46 years continuously. Later, it was revealed that she could not sing due to a degenerative condition initially diagnosed as Parkinson’s disease, vocal problems, and more health issues.
