Albert Kim decided to make a live-action television series, Avatar: The Last Airbender, also known as Avatar: The Legend of Aang. Filled with action-adventure, fantasy, and drama, the forthcoming American series is an adaptation of the animated TV series.
Avatar: The Last Airbender will release the episodes altogether on Netflix for streaming on February 22nd, 2024. The series consists of eight episodes, helmed by Michael Goi, Jabbar Raisani, Roseanne Liang, and Jet Wilkinson.

The series revolves around a young boy named Aang, the Avatar, who learns to master water, earth, fire, and air, which are the four elemental powers. He needs to get the hang of it to balance and protect the world from the Fire Nation. To do so, Aang gets help from Katara and Sokka, the Water tribe siblings, and other characters.
Rideback’s series stars Gordon Cormier as Avatar Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, Dallas Liu as Prince Zuko, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Uncle Iroh, Elizabeth Yu as Princess Azula, and Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai.
The trailer has also been released, which gives us an insight into the upcoming television series. Those who have watched the animated version feel like the cherry on top after hearing about the news.
