True Detective is off to a thrilling start in its brand-new season. The fourth season will premiere on January 14th, 2024. Directed by Issa López, the crime drama follows the story of a town in Alaska called Ennis. The detectives start an investigation into the disappearance of eight men from the Tsalal Research Station.
The subtitle for this season is Night Country. The TV series stars Jodie Foster as Liz Danvers and Kali Reis as Evangeline Navarro. The second episode is scheduled to be released on January 21st, 2024.
True Detective: Night Country has a total of six episodes, and the last one will be released on February 25th, 2024. Viewers can watch the second episode and all the episodes on HBO at 9 p.m. ET/PT every Saturday.

The American anthology series has four seasons: the first season aired from January 12th to March 9th, 2014; the second from June 21st to June 21st, 2015; and the third from January 13th to February 24th, 2019.
The fourth season is expected to be more thrilling and eerie, with more unsettling visuals. If you are a new viewer of this crime-centered franchise, you are advised not to watch it while eating because those horrifying scenes will make you lose your appetite.
