1) Physical powers and strength-

Zoro is one of the strongest characters in terms of pure physical strength. He is even found working out at sea.

His physical powers have been shown in the manner of how he was able to clash against Kaku, one of the legendary assassins whose mythical zoan devil fruit abilities further increased his strength.

He could also stop the Nigori-Zake attack and easily took on Hatchman- a Fishman who was considered to have powers ten times the strength of a normal human.

During his fight with Admiral Fujitora, he was able to resist his gravitational force. He was easily able to carry the strong cag where Luffy was imprisoned.

His strongest feat came early in the Alabasta Arc, where he held up an entire building all by himself while battling No.1.

Zoro is an immensely fast and agile swordsman. He can cut down opponents in the blink of an eye. In his fight against Ryuma, he was easily able to trace the opponent’s attacks.

His fight against Braham on Upper Yard and later on in the Whisky Peak he was able to dodge a number of attacks from the Baroque Work agents show his flexibility. He was even able to dodge a fully loaded bazooka.

He is also extremely fast and agile underwater and was able to swim past Hody Jones and defeat him.

3) Swordsmanship-

The crux of his powers comes from his distinctive way of swordsmanship. Only a handful of swordsmen can even stand up to his skill level, much less defeat him. At present, only some characters can defeat Zoro in terms of skill.

4) One Sword style-

Zoro is immensely skilled in the one sword style and is a master of that form. Using this form, he was able to defeat the Nyaban brothers and was also able to defeat Hody Jones and even decapitate a dragon.

5) Two sword style-

This was Zoro’s primary form of fighting before shifting on to the three sword style. When his third blade was destroyed, Zoro dual wilded the Wado Ichimonji and Sandai Kitetsu. Using his dual wield, he defeated several strong ninjas known as Orochi Oniwabanshu in the Wano Arc.

6) Three Sword Style-

The traditional three sword-wielding style makes Zoro the most exceptional swordsman. He can use his unique King of Hell style in this form, where he infuses his Haki with his swords to increase his offensive prowess.

This technique was able to cut through even King’s defensive powers, which shows the potency of his abilities.

7) Haki-

Zoro can use all three forms of Haki. He uses the Haoshoku Haki with his nine sword art form. However, his mastery stands at Busoshoku Haki, which he practiced under Miwawk and even would a Logia User. He can also use the Kenbunshoku Haki, shown by his ability to sense wild beasts.

No, Zoro cannot beat Luffy. It is because Luffy is the protagonist of One Piece and has mastery over all three forms of Haki. Also, he is a devil fruit user, and his gear transformations can make him extremely fast, strong, and agile.
