My Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since July 2014. The story follows Izuku Midoriya who was born without any Quirk but still dreams of becoming a superhero himself.
All Might is considered the #1 Hero in this series. He was the eighth holder of the One For All Quirk. Although he is very powerful, the series comprises many new generation heroes who are capable enough to defeat All Might in the future. In this article, we are going to rank them from 1 to 10.
Top 10 New Generation Heroes who can defeat All Might in future –
- 10. Seiji Sishikura –
Seiji is a second-year student at Shiketsu High School. Seiji’s Quirk is Meatball which gives him the power to manipulate raw flesh. As a result, he can disfigure his enemies’ bodies into balls of flesh, leaving them incapacitated. He can also use his own flesh for attack and defense. Thus, with this ranged fighting style, he can cause some serious harm to All Might and takes tenth place in the rankings.
- 9) Togaru Kamakiri –
Togaru is a student in Class 1-B at U.A. High School. His Quirk is Razor Sharp which grants him the power to produce large blades from any part of his body. They are sharp and strong enough to cut through pipes made of steel and iron, and durable enough to withstand a point-blank explosion. Thus, Togaru’s balanced offensive and defensive capabilities make him a potential candidate to defeat All Might and places him in the ninth position.
- 8) Eijiro Kirishima –
Kirishima is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School. His Quirk Hardening allows him to harden and sharpen any or all parts of his body. This causes his flesh to become jagged and rock-like. Thus, he possesses enhanced durability and strength which makes him suitable to fend off attacks from All Might. His Super Moves include Red Counter, Red Riot Unbreakable, and Red Gauntlet. Thus, he comes in the eighth position in the rankings.
- 7) Yosetsu Awase –
Yosetsu Awase is a student in Class 1-B at U.A. High School. His Quirk Weld grants him the power to fuse objects together at an atomic level. His Super Move Construction-Done-Kwik can allow him to restrain All Might to a structure by interconnecting him with metallic logs. This in turn will give him the opening to possibly defeat All Might. As a result, he comes in the seventh position in this rankings.
- 6) Fumikage Tokoyami –
Fumikage is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School. His Quirk Dark Shadow grants him the power to manifest a sentient shadow monster from his body that he can materialize and contract freely. Dark Shadow is more powerful during darkness and is powerful enough to cause a rampage. His Super Moves include Black Abyss, Black Fallen Angel, and Ragnarok. His insane potential makes him capable to defeat All Might in the future. Thus, he takes sixth place on this list.
- 5) Inasa Yoarashi –
Inasa is a first-year student at Shiketsu High School. He is a very powerful hero-in-training who earned the top score in the U.A. Entrance Exam. He possesses great control over his powerful Quirk Whirlwind. He can channel various wind currents at once and manipulate them to blow away his enemies. This makes him a strong contender to defeat All Might in the future and gives him fifth place in the rankings.
- 4) Katsuki Bakugo –
Bakugo is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School. Katsuki has proven from time to time that he is one of the most powerful students in the U.A. In combination with his hard work and explosive powers, he can very well bring down All Might in the future. He has already shown that he is capable enough to battle against strong foes and formulate strategic tactics. His Quirk Explosion combined with his head on charge in battles gives him a massive upper hand. As a result, he takes fourth place in this rankings.
- 3) Mirio Togata –
Mirio is a student of Class 3-B at U.A. High School. He is also part of the Big 3. He has earned enormous acclaim due to his combination of extraordinary technique, great fighting ability, and charismatic personality. He possesses inhuman strength and amazing deductive abilities. His greatest strength lies in the fact that he was able to master his nearly uncontrollable Quirk. His Quirk Permeation allows him to become intangible and phase through solid walls and the ground. Thus, he is definitely one of the contenders to defeat All Might in the future and earns third place in this list.
- 2) Shoto Todoroki –
Shoto is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School. His Quirk Half-Hot Half-Cold allows him to use both pyro and cryokinesis. Since he rejected his fire abilities at first, he is more adept in using his ice side of the Quirk. He can manipulate ice to freeze opponents, create pillars and use shields to block attacks. After he accepted to use his flames, his dual-wielding makes him a formidable opponent for anyone including All Might. Thus, Shoto manages to secure the second position in this rankings.
- 1) Izuku Midoriya –
Izuku Midoriya is the main protagonist of this series who inherited All Might’s Quirk One For All. It essentially allows him to stockpile power increasing his overall stamina, endurance, and skill. He is also the first user to awaken a spiritual link with the past users of One For All and inherited all their Quirks. This includes Danger Sense, Blackwhip, and Float. It will only be natural that Izuku will be the most probable candidate to defeat his hero in the future since he is pretty much the successor of All Might. Since he received his Quirk from All Might it almost guarantees that he will be able to take him down.
