The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 Ep 4 finally seems to be getting into the main plot and addressing some of the main concerns in this season. Ep 3 starts with Naofumi and Raphtalia visiting the slave dealer to buy slaves.

After some time, they manage to buy Fohl and his sister Atla. Naofumi also has the required medicine to heal Atla from the condition she is in. After buying them, they take them back to Lurolona village to meet up with their other freed beast people.

Both Fohl and Atla fit in nicely in this atmosphere, and we see that Atla slowly begins to get better. But tragedy strikes the village just when Naofumi and the group leave for some other work. A pair of bandits attack this village.

They wanted to capture all of these beast people and sell them to slave traders. Since there were only children, they couldn’t fight back against the adults without proper training. However, Fohl manages to contact Naofumi secretly.

Naofumi teleports back to his lands and starts thrashing everyone down, along with Raphtalia. However, he is unable to kill the leader of these invasions since he is very closely related to a noble.

So, Naofumi instead sells all of these invaders to the slave trader in Siltvelt. They fetch a very high price for both Naofumi and the Slave Trader as well. Soon after this, they are summoned by Melromarc and also get to learn more about the heroics of the Lance hero.

Melromarc also says that she knows the location of the Spear Hero, Motoyasu, and the episode ends here.

The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 Ep 4 Spoilers & Predictions

From now on, it will be the start of a new arc for at least a few more episodes. The three heroes’ location has been unknown all of this time, and the Phoenix’s awakening is only becoming closer with each passing day.

And now, Naofumi has the first clue to deal with this impending danger: the location of Motoyasu. Even after finding him, they still need to convince him to come back and gather allies to fight against the Phoenix.

Most probably, the incidents in the next episode will be as follows. Melromarc will reveal the location of Motoyasu and also share the message of him saying that he doesn’t want to fight against Phoenix.

After hearing this, Naofumi and the group set off to knock some sense into Motoyasu and remind him of his position once again. There might also be a situation in which he is still trapped in Kyo’s traps and is unable to break out and is requesting help.

It might be the same for the other Cardinal Heroes, too. So, after helping Motoyasu, Naofumi still needs to find the location of the Bow and Sword Heroes.

The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 Ep 4 will be released on 27th October in 5 more days. The release time for the episode is 5:30 PM IST, but it takes more than several hours for the episode to get updated on the official and unofficial streaming services.

There is also a manga series for the Shield Hero series, but it greatly deviates from the Light Novel as well as the anime’s plot. You could check that in your free time if you are looking for a different perspective on the incidents in the anime.
