Today, we’ll be talking about anime characters with helmets. A helmet doesn’t sound like a popular accessory to dress with. Characters from anime and manga often style themselves in a quirky way, with over-the-top costumes and exaggerated goggles. They also sometimes don helmets. Sure, wearing helmets and looking good might be a long task, but if anyone can do it, it’s these characters.
Here are ten anime characters with helmets who know how to rock their looks.

List of 10 Anime Characters with Helmets
1) Celty Sturluson (Durarara!!)
Celty Sturluson is the first on our list of 10 anime characters with helmets. Celty is an Irish fairy, known as a Dullahan, who came to Japan looking for her missing head.
While working as an underground transporter and taking occasional work from Izaya Orihara, Celty looks for her missing head. She has transformed her familiarity into a motorcycle to blend into the modern world.
Celty always wears a motorcycle helmet to hide her headless status. The helmet is yellow with cat ears. There is a stylized S designed on the left side of the helmet, just under the cat’s ear. The back of the helmet is indigo blue, and so is the color of the eye protector glass.
2) Zero (Code Geass)
Zero is the alter ego of Lelouch vi Britannia, who started a revolution against the Britannia Empire. Lelouch uses Zero’s persona to lead the revolution from behind the shadows.
To hide his real identity, he wears a helmet and a high-collared cape like Zero. Zero’s helmet design changes in the movie, but the color scheme remains the same.
The original helmet is black, with three spines staying up like a trident. Two separate spines come from behind. The helmet also has an oval-shaped glass-covered area, the color of which is purple. This glass can be opened at will. There is a golden design just under the glass.
3) Son Gohan (Dragon Ball Z)
Gohan is the elder son of Goku and Chichi. Like his father, he is also a Saiyan capable of great strength. After his father’s death in the Cell Saga, Gohan lives an everyday life from then on, pursuing his studies and going to college.
During this time, Gohan takes on the identity of Saiyanman, a superhero who fights crime and helps people. In his superhero avatar, he wears a green and black costume along with a red cape.
He also wears a helmet to hide his identity. The helmet is orange from the sides and black from the back. There’s also a black visor attached to it and two pairs of dials and antennas on either side of the helmet.
4) Reg (Made in Abyss)
Reg is an android who is found by Riko on the first layer of the abyss. He has amnesia and doesn’t remember anything, including his name. Riko names him Reg, after a dog she had.
Reg’s past is shrouded in mystery, and one of his mysteries is his helmet. His helmet is blue-black with two dissimilar horns on both sides of the head. There’s a big glass lens attached to the border plate on the right side of the helmet.
5) Charlotte Roselei (Black Clover)
Charlotte Roselei is the captain of the Blue Rose squad of Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom. She hails from a noble house and is a very strong wizard. She possesses a three-leaf Grimoire and uses Briar Magic.
Charlotte is a beautiful woman who wears a helmet most of the time. Her helmet is made of metal and appears similar to a gladiator’s. There’s a triangular crown at the head with two extended plates on both sides of her head. There’s also an extended portion over her face. The helmet is designed with golden patterns.
6) Alphonse Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist)
Alphonse Elric is an alchemist and the younger brother of Edward Elric, the Fullmetal Alchemist. A failed human transmutation caused Edward to lose his arm and leg and Alphonse his whole body.
After losing his body, Alphonse’s soul was sealed inside a metal armor by his desperate brother. For the total duration of the series, he doesn’t have a body living inside the armor.
Alphonse’s armor is huge and has a helmet with a white ribbon on the back of the head. The front of the helmet has two openings for eyes and an underjaw, along with two whisker-like patterns on each side of the face. There’s also a cone on the forehead plate of the metal.
7) Bjorn (Vinland Saga)
Bjorn is Askeladd’s second-in-command, who has served him the longest out of his followers. He is also the one most loyal to him. Bjorn loves battles and is known for being a berserker.
Along with his Viking garbs, Bjorn wears a helmet on his head. The helmet is wooden at the top, with a metal band lining its border. There’s another metal plate nailed on top of it. This one reaches towards the head triangularly and comes down to his nose in two symmetrical L shapes on both sides.
8) Goblin Slayer (Goblin Slayer)
Goblin Slayer is the protagonist and the titular character of the anime. He is an adventurer who has earned his silver rank. He primarily hunts goblins in his quests.
Goblin Slayer is always clad in metal armor paired with a helmet. The helmet is also made of metal and has a torn red ribbon at the back of the head. The front of the helmet has five parallel vertical slits that let the man see.
There is an overhead over the slits. The lower part of the helmet has an extended underjaw. Two metal plates cover each side of the face, coupled with a pair of dials.
9) Berserker (Fate/Zero)
Berserker is a Berserker-class Servant who serves Kariya Matou during the Fourth Holy Grail War. He is originally Lancelot, who served Artoria Pendragon loyally until he fell in love with her queen, Guinevere.
After his incarnation as a Servant, Berserker appears shrouded in darkness. He wears full-body armor along with a metal helmet. The helmet has two parts. The back of the helmet has two ridges with the front overlaying it. The front has two extra plates near the chin and a narrow red slit over the eyes.
10) Chiyo Shuzenji (My Hero Academia)
The list of anime characters with helmets ends with Recovery Girl. Chiyo Shuzenji is a hero whose official name is Youthful Heroine: Recovery Girl. She has a Quirk named Heal that allows her to heal injuries of herself and others. She currently works as a nurse at the U.A. High School.
Recovery Girl is a sweet old woman who is always seen in her hero costume and lab coat. Along with a syringe nestled in her bun and fun purple visor, she also wears a helmet. Her helmet is pink and goes around her head to cover both sides of her face.
