100+ MBTI Anime Characters: All 16 Personality Types (2023)

MBTI is a personality indicator that categorizes a person’s personality within 16 personality types. The indicator not only works for real humans, but also for fictional characters. Though characters cannot answer the needed questionnaires, their personalities can tell us about what types they fall under. Here are 100+ MBTI anime characters, categorized into the 16 personality types.

What Is MBTI?

MBTI, standing for the Myer-Briggs Type Indicator, is a set of questionnaires that helps decide the personality traits an individual carries. The questions provide different choices that indicate the psychological preference of the subject. They also help the inquisitor to understand what personality type the subject falls under.

MBTI has eight basic personality traits, with four sets of traits complementing each other. The traits are Introverted (I) and Extraverted (E), Intuitive (N) and Observant (S), Thinking (T) and Feeling (F), and Judging (J) and Prospecting (P).

After the extensive questionnaires are answered, the result helps categorize the subject within a personality type. According to MBTI, there are a total of 16 personality types. These are: INTJ, ENTJ, INTP, ENTP, INFJ, ENFJ, INFP, ENFP, ISTJ, ESTJ, ISTP, ESTP, ISFJ, ESFJ, ISFP, and ESFP.
