Black Clover is a manga series written and illustrated by Yuki Tabata. The story is built around Asta, a young boy who is apparently born without any magic power. It has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since February 2015.
Black Clover consists of four different kingdoms. Among them, Clover Kingdom recently conducted an invasion on Spade Kingdom. Today we are going to rank the members of Clover Kingdom’s Invasion Team and make a list of the Top 10 members. Let’s discuss the list of the Strongest Members of Clover Kingdom’s Special Force.
Strongest Members of Clover Kingdom’s Special Force in Black Clover –
- 10) Rill Boismortier –
Rill is the captain of the Clover Kingdom’s Azure Deer squad of the Magic Knights. He hosts the elf Lira in himself and specialises in Painting Magic. After invading the castle in Spade Kingdom, Rill confronts Vanica Zogratis along with Charlotte. Rill uses his Souterrain Groundswell and Sirene’s Game spells to counter Vanica’s shining generals. This made Vanica compliment his Painting Magic and puts him in the 10th place in this list.
- 9) Dorothy Unsworth –
Dorothy is a witch from the Witches’ Forest and the captain of the Clover Kingdom’s Coral Peacock squad of the Magic Knights. She hosts the elf Reve. She specialises in Dream Magic to manifest and manipulate a dream-like world. She handled the dark disciples in the way of her team while the rest of them continued onward. She possesses a three leaf clover grimoire that contains various dream based magic spells. Thus, she manages to take the 9th place in the rankings.
- 8) Nozel Silva –
Nozel is the captain of the Silver Eagle squad of the Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom. Nozel uses Mercury Magic to generate and manipulate mercury. By freely transforming its shape at will, he can use it for both offence and defence. He also possesses Elia’s Booth that creates a field of healing magic. His three leaf clover grimoire contains various mercury based spells. He acted as a decoy by taking on the dark disciples and letting the rest of his team pass. This puts him in the 8th place in this list.
- 7) Charlotte Roselei –
Charlotte is the captain of the Clover Kingdom’s Blue Rose squad of the Magic Knights. She hosts the elf Charla. She uses Briar Magic to generate and manipulate Briars. During the invasion, Charlotte used Blue Rose Paradise to cover the entire room and weaken the curse of Vanica’s generals. She finally used her Queen of Briars to defeat the generals. She also managed to wrap Vanica completely in briars placing her in the 7th position in the rankings.
- 6) Jack the Ripper –
Jack is the captain of the Clover Kingdom’s Green Mantis squad of the Magic Knights. Jack uses Slash Magic to generate blades of mana. When they had invaded Spade Kingdom, Jack used Lunatic Slash to cut Dante’s body multiple times. He started manipulating blades on the surface of his body to sharpen them. Finally he was able to slash through Dante’s body magic, enough to hurt him which made him bleed. Thus, with his strong determination Jack takes the 6th place in this list.
- 5) Yuno x Sylph –
Yuno is a 5th Class Intermediate Magic Knight of the Clover Kingdom’s Golden Dawn and Royal Knights squad. He is served by Sylph, the spirit of wind. He specialises in Wind Magic to generate and manipulate wind. While the invasion was going on, Yuno used Tornado Fang at Zenon who blocked it with his bone magic. Yuno summoned Sylph to help him out in the battle. Together they created Spirit of Boreas and destroyed Zenon’s bones. Finally, he was able to create a burst of spiralling wind and shatter Zenon’s bones by drilling in to his torso. Thus, Yuno asserted his dominance and takes the 5th place in the rankings.
- 4) Fuegoleon Vermillion –
Fuegoleon is the captain of the Crimson Lion squad of the Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom. He specialises in Fire Magic to manipulate the element of fie. During the initial phase of the invasion, Fuegoleon took on the dark disciples by letting the other members of his team pass. Later on he showed his real power by breaking the castle wall and using Salamander to burn the devils. He caused a rampage in the castle and asserted the power of his fire spirit alongside Salamander. As a result, he deservingly takes the 4th place in this list.
- 3) Nacht Faust –
Nacht is the vice-captain of the Clover Kingdom’s Black Bull squad of the Magic Knights. He is also a devil host and uses Shadow Magic as his primary asset. He formulated the plan of invading the Spade Kingdom. He was literally the brain behind the invasion and was successful in organising a well coordinated attack. He took on Dante with the help of Jack and was able to hold him off quite well. He was even able to dodge the attacks of the devils from the underworld by using Plumede’s ability of “Agility“.
- 2) Mereoleona Vermillion –
Mereoleona was the temporary captain of the Crimson Lion squad of the Clover Kingdom. She uses Fire Magic to generate and manipulate fire. During the invasion she took on a giant demon by herself and allowed the others to enter the castle. She was excited to battle with a beast of legend and activated her Hellfire Incarnate spell. She moved closer to its head and dealt an upward strike to its jaw. At last she released her full Mana Zone and attacked the demon’s whole body with a barrage of punches. Thus, she deservedly takes the 2nd spot in this rankings.
- 1) Asta x Liebe –
The first position belongs to none other than Asta, united with Liebe. Asta is an orphan raised under the care of a church in Hage. After turning 15 years old, Asta received a five-leaf clover grimoire with an Anti Magic devil inside. He took on the demon that had suddenly attacked Clover Kingdom. Asta united with Liebe and countered the demon’s fire blast by driving his Black Divider into the charging mana. He was able to completely erase the demon’s mana by spreading his Anti Magic. As the demon attacked him again, he sliced the demon’s forearm in half. He was also able to split it torso and managed to single-handedly defeat the demon.

This concludes our ranking of the Top 10 Strongest Members of Clover Kingdom’s Special Force in Black Clover. Safe to say there have been few surprises along the way. Asta with the help of Liebe became the hero of this arc with Mereoleona not far behind in defeating another demon all by herself.
