Kuma and Vegapunk

According to the spoilers provided by Pewpiece and confirmed by Redon on X, One Piece Chapter 1100 picks up where the last chapter left off. The title of the chapter is still unknown but it is linked to a letter that Kuma wrote to Bonney.

  • After Saturn eavesdropped on Vegapunk and Kuma’s conversation where Kuma agreed to become a prototype for the cyborg clones, the Elder forced him to become a Shichibukai under the World Government and a mindless cyborg that can be used as their weapon. If he declined, they’d arrest Bonney.
  • Kuma agreed to become a cyborg and a Shichibukai to protect Bonney but in exchange, he negotiated for her safety.
  • After the negotiations, both operations, Bonney’s to cure Sapphire Stones and Kuma’s to become a cyborg, were carried out on Egghead Island under the watch of Admiral Kizaru.
  • Once the operations were done, Bonney returned home to Sorbet Kingdom and Kuma officially became a Shichibukai. The chapter also shows the reactions of the other Shichibukai at the news of Kuma’s new appointment.
  • Toward the end of One Piece Chapter 1100, Kuma wrote a letter to Bonney who was in Sorbet Kingdom, thanking her for everything. This letter is referred to in the title of the chapter.
  • The chapter ends with Kuma arriving at Foosha Village in East Blue. This is the village where Luffy grew up.
