Top 20 Most Powerful Tokyo Revengers Characters Ranked-
20) Tetta Kisaki –
We are starting off strong on this list with the most notorious antagonist himself, Tetta Kisaki. Tetta Kisaki had a unique story. He was a genius child in his younger days and never seemed the type that went about brawling.
As he grew up he began applying his intelligence to cook up grievous plots and let the others do his work for him. Even though Takemichi tried to change the future multiple times, Kisaki would always end up at the top which proves that fighting is not all about muscles.
19) Takemichi Hanagaki –
It is quite natural to see Takemichi on the bottom half of this list. Unlike other protagonists of different anime, Takemichi is not an overpowered character nor does he scale up in power as the story progresses. This is what makes Takemichi stand out among others.
He thrives on his sheer willpower and his unwavering determination to save the lives of his friends and girlfriend. His mental strength combined with his insane endurance makes him one of the strongest Tokyo Revengers characters.
18) Chifuyu Matsuno –
Similar to Mitsuya, Chifuyu is also another character who is not only powerful but also one of the more popular characters in this series. He was the closest person to Baji and took innumerable blows on his face in order for Baji’s plan to succeed.
He later becomes close to Takemichi and slowly becomes his number one buddy. He has great fighting prowess and can keep any enemy occupied for a significant amount of time.
17) Souta Kawata –
Souta is Smiley’s twin brother and is known as Angry. He is completely different to his brother in almost every aspect. Although judging from his facial expression he always seems to rage with anger, he is quite calm headed and extremely emotional on the inside.
He also has a secret power that activates after he starts crying. As we saw in the fight against Tenjiku he suddenly got a surge of power and defeated most of the top members of Tenjiku all by himself.
16) Hakkai Shiba –
Hakkai Shiba is one of the characters in Tokyo Revengers anime who had phenomenal character development. Despite having a tall and lanky height, he had a meek personality owing to his violent older brother, Taiju.
He lacked the courage to fight against him in the beginning but with Takemichi and the others’ help, he finally stood up to him and was also almost able to defeat him. Later, he made himself a valuable member of Toman against the Tenjiku Gang too.
15) Shiba Yuhuza –
The only female character to feature in this list is Shiba Yuhuza. There is a scarcity of female characters in Tokyo Revengers with Yuhuza being one of the three major female characters.
She can put up a decent fight against anyone and has great endurance which developed due to the acts of violence by her older brother Taiju.
She has a heart made of gold and a courageous personality as we saw how she placed her life on the line in order to save her younger brother, Hakkai.
14) Shuji Hanma –
The next person to make an appearance in this list of the most powerful characters is Shuji Hanma. He acted as the muscle guy for Kisaki and was always found in areas of violence.
He is a secondary antagonist in this series has tried to bring down the Tokyo Manji Gang on multiple occasions.
He has jumped from one gang to the other while following Kisaki in order to quench his thirst for violence. He thrives on the rush of adrenaline in his blood and put up a strong fight against Draken.
13) Seishu Inui –
Seishu Inui who is more popularly known as Inupi was first introduced to us as an antagonist in the 10th generation Black Dragons. He is a level headed character who can analyze a situation perfectly before making his move.
His commitment to his gang is exceptional and he can go to any lengths for that. During his younger days, he used to defeat people left and right before encountering Taiju.
12) Kakucho –
Kakucho is one of the most underrated characters in Tokyo Revengers anime. He is the childhood friend of Takemichi and worked under Izana in the Tenjiku Gang.
When Takemichi tried to save him in his childhood from bullies, it motivated Kakucho to train himself and become a strong character in the future.
He lived up to his goal and became a fearsome character who could be relied upon by the other members of the gang during a time of severe distress. He is later recruited by Rokuhara Tendai signifying he can prove to be a vital cog for any gang.
11) Nahoya Kawata –
Nahoya also popularly known as Smiley was a very interesting character in the Tokyo Manji gang. He earned his nickname due to his habit of always smiling which in turn works in his favour of hiding his destructive nature.
He was the trump card of Toman as was highlighted by the fact that the Tenjiku members specifically targeted him in order to break down Toman’s spirits.
He can easily go up against a huge number of enemies and it also makes him happy when he gets to fight against strong opponents.
10) Takashi Mitsuya –
Takashi Mitsuya is the other trump card of Toman. Aside from being one of the most popular Tokyo Revengers characters, he is also one of the most popular ones in the series.
Similar to Nahoya, he was also attacked by the Tenjiku members proving his importance to Toman.
Mitsuya is a very caring person deep down and never backs down from any challenge even if it is outside his level. He is also the most responsible member of the group having already taken care of his siblings from a very young age.
9) Keisuke Baji –
Keisuke Baji was one of the founding members of the Tokyo Manji Gang and without a doubt one of its most powerful members. In terms of hierarchy in power, he was the number three after Mikey and Draken.
The best thing about Keisuke Baji was that he was quite perceptive of everything unlike other characters in Tokyo Revengers. He was not all about brawn and knew how to use his brain.
He was easily able to look through the sinister ploy of Kiseki and worked accordingly as a double-agent to bring him down.
8) Taiju Shiba –
Taiju Shiba was one of the major antagonists in this series and is by far one of the powerful Tokyo Revengers characters. He is the former leader of the 10th generation Black Dragons and everyone cowered at his name. Such was his fearful impact that no one dared to oppose him.
He is an extremely violent character with monstrous strength. He does not show sympathy to anyone and not even his own siblings. He believes in brute offensive power and it takes a hell of a lot of sheer effort and combative abilities to take him down.
7) Rindo Haitani –
Rindo is one of the infamous Haitani brothers who were first introduced during the battle against Valhalla. Such was their impact that they were brought as judges in order to decide the winner of the battle. Later they got recruited by Tenjiku and are the current members of Rokuhara Tendai.
Rindo is the younger brother and is a clear-cut sadist. He has previously demonstrated his might against the former Toman members like Hakkai and Angry.
6) Ran Haitani –
The older of the Haitani brothers is also one of the most powerful Tokyo Revengers characters. Being the number two of Rokuhara Tendai is not an easy job and it shows how a deity like Terano South believes in Ran’s strength.
Ran has always operated as a duo along with Rindo and spread their terror far and wide. In combination with Rindo, they can usually take down a gang or two all by themselves.
5) Ken Ryuguji –
Ken Ryuguji was the former no. 2 in the Manji Gang and was the closest person to Mikey. Draken is a beast and has a dominating appearance. He is taller than most other characters and can easily assert his supremacy by towering over them.
He has superhuman resistance which was proved when he beat up 20 enemies even after taking a huge blow on his head with a rod. He also survived a knife attack shoved right through his stomach and was able to stand up without losing consciousness.
4) Izana Kurokawa –
Izana Kurokawa was the former leader of Tenjiku Gang and was one of the very few characters who could withstand Mikey’s special attack. He was related to Mikey through his step-sister and had a fearful presence over his fellow gang members.
He didn’t look like a powerful character but he had an incredible sense that allowed him to read his opponents moves perfectly.
As a result, it was almost impossible for his enemies to land a blow on him. The fact that he could fight Mikey at the same level as him, further establishes his might.
3) Terano South –
Terano South is the latest addition to the story and one of the Three Deities in Japan. He leads the Rokuhara Tendai gang and is an extremely tall and fearful character.
He towered over Draken which made Draken seem insignificantly small. He was also able to beat Draken to a pulp easily thus showcasing his insane strength and raw power.
2) Kawaragi Senju –
Similar to Terano, Senju is also one of the newer additions in this series and is definitely one of the most powerful characters in Tokyo Revengers anime.
Although he does not seem intimidating like Terano it is clear that he has great mobility and innate athleticism. His kicking style was also similar to Mikey as he was easily able to land a strong blow on Terano’s neck.
1) Sano Manjiro –
We think it comes as no surprise that the Invincible Mikey is the strongest Tokyo Revengers character. He is the former leader of the Tokyo Manji gang and is feared by everyone.
He is currently one of the Three Deities in Tokyo. He and his compatriot Draken once took down an entire gang by themselves.
Mikey can stand up to any character in Tokyo Revengers and come out victorious. His speciality is his incredible kicking power and very few can still stand to the ground after it lands on them.

Life took a sudden turn for me when I finally decided to watch Kimi no nawa & Clannad. While both of them made me cry and introduced me to this vast world of anime. The Anime and Manga world is an escape for me from this complicated real world and serves as a relief. Being a content writer for OtakusNotes still feels like a dream and has been one of the best things to happen to me this year. It has been a productive distraction for me and I am loving every moment of it.
