Unordinary or unOrdinary is an original webtoon created and illustrated by Uru-chan. It was released on LINE Webtoon on May 24, 2016. It is currently being published as a featured series. Unordinary follows the life of John Doe, a male teenager attending Wellston Private High School, a prestigious school where everyone possesses special powers.

Due to him not possessing any powers, John gets attacked by others on a daily basis. He encounters a girl named Seraphina who attacks him over the school’s chocolate cake, though they eventually become friends. However, John has a dark secret that nobody knows about, and it turns out life in a school full of powerful students isn’t easy with threats around every corner.

Elaine is a third-year student at Wellston Private High School and Seraphina’s roommate. She currently holds the position of Healer on Wellston’s Turf Wars roster. As a healer, Elaine is capable of healing and detecting wounds. As she is on the Turf Wars roster, she is presumably one of the most, if not the most, capable and competent healers in Wellston. In combat, she heals any injuries she sustains and has the skill and strength to break her opponent’s arm.

19) Kuyo

Power Level- 3.5

Kuyo is a character from Side Story – Rei. He was Rei’s roommate when he attended Wellston and a very powerful student for his age, coming from a family of high tiers. Many fans speculate that the vigilante that’s been tailing Blyke during his nightly excursions is, in fact, an older Kuyo. Both have green eyes and the same shade of blue hair tied into a ponytail. In addition to these physical similarities, Ponytail described a friend who became a vigilante after reading Unordinary.

18) Zirian

Power Level- 3.7

Zirian was a student at New Bostin High School and the former King of New Bostin, until he was dethroned by John and subsequently demoted to Jack. Zirian’s ability “Cresent Slash” allows him to generate crescent-shaped shock-waves from their hands, which the user is able to throw. These slashes are sharp enough to cut human flesh. He felt that nobody was entitled to shortcuts within the hierarchy, though there was little he could do when his own power was suddenly surpassed.

Ventus is a student of Wellston Private High School and Meili’s partner. Ventus’s ability “Whirlwind” grants him the ability to generate spinning funnels of wind from his hands and use them to send opponents flying. From what little is seen of Ventus, he, like every other student of Wellston, despises John due to his low status. Like Meili, Ventus is also loyal to Arlo and has carried out various orders from the King without question. In fact, he was the one who informed the attack on Seraphina.

Meili is a student of Wellston Private High School and is Ventus’s partner. Meili is capable of transforming her hands into monstrous razor-sharp claws with her ability “Demon Claws” that can easily cut, stab, and wound opponents. Meili is fast on her feet, which allowed her to intercept an attack John launched at Arlo. She also has a considerable degree of resilience. She was able to survive a sheer drop but not walk away from it. It seems her resilience is limited when on low power and devastated.

15) Gou

Power Level- 4

Gou is a student and the Jack of Agwin High School. As the Jack of Agwin High School, Gou is most likely one of the strongest students at his school. His ability “Super Strength” allows him to greatly damage anything on the receiving end of his fists or hurl objects at great speeds. He is also said to be rather fast, according to Blyke. Gou was first seen alongside Broven, Rein, and an unnamed healer during the Turf Wars against Wellston High. He was paired up to battle Wellston’s Jack, Blyke.

Darren is the school doctor of Wellston and the boyfriend of Leilah. Dr. Darren possesses the ability “Nightmare,” which surrounds him with a black mist with red eyes. He uses this ability to intimidate students and is one of the scariest people in Wellston. Darren is an extremely proficient doctor, as he can make medicines potent enough to heal a broken arm in three hours. He is a brash, abrasive person with a bit of a temper, especially towards the more troublemaking students.

Power Level- 4.2

Zeke is a student of Wellston Private High School and is the third strongest resident of Wellston’s boys’ dormitories. Zeke’s ability, “Phase Shift,” allows him to shift his stats between two distinct “forms.” In his “Offensive Form,” Zeke sacrifices defense and recovery for higher attack and speed. The ability also grants him a “Defensive Form,” which alters his skin tone into his signature blue color and grants him increased defense and recovery, not unlike Stone Skin.

Isen is a second-year student at Wellston Private High School and the former head of the school press. Hunter grants Isen a wide range of abilities he can use to track down and capture targets. Some abilities include targeting, x-ray vision, telescopic vision, enhanced speed, and strength enhancement strong enough to stop a semi-truck or send people flying through a solid wall. Isen is a very analytical person who can deduce information with existing evidence, as shown with his research on John.

Rein is the current Queen of Agwin High School. Rein’s ability allows her to sprout gigantic spider-like legs from her back, which she can then use for offense or defense. Being the Queen of Agwin High School, Rein is considered to be one of the most capable combatants, and ever since she joined the roster, Agwin has never lost save for the battle against Wellston. The maximum number of legs she can sprout is unknown, but she has been shown to utilize at least eight, which is likely the maximum, as her power is called Arachnid.

Blyke is a third-year student at Wellston Private High School and the former Jack of the school. He is John’s former roommate and is a dormant vigilante. Blyke is capable of discharging red-colored energy from his hands. This energy seems to be more kinetic than thermal, capable of punching holes in things rather than burning them. Offensively, he can use his ability to fire continuous laser beams with deadly precision or volley powerful blasts of energy.

Keon is a member of the Authorities who specializes in interrogation and dealing with delinquent children by teaching at a readjustment facility. Seraphina, as the Ace of Wellston, is known as the strongest ability user in the entire school. She has shown the ability to stop time and reverse time to a certain extent. The name is quite simple, “Time Manipulation.”

John Doe is the central character of unordinary and a third-year student of Wellston Private High School. John is capable of copying any abilities with “physical feedback” and combining abilities for devastating results. In addition to copying and combining other abilities, John is capable of detecting and sensing intensities of auras given off by abilities and amplifying any of the abilities he copies. However, the number of abilities he can copy appears to be finite; there are some complications with it.

Vaughn is the headmaster of Wellston Private High School. While his exact ability is unknown, his is ability is likely gravity or telekinesis. He is seen gravitating John towards the ground. Keene-

Keene is the Head of Security of Wellston. While his ability has yet to be revealed, he is confirmed to be a high-tier. He is seen using his ability in one chapter, though its exact properties are currently unknown. When Keon passed through the invisible netted barrier, Keene was alerted despite his ability being inactive at the time. He was also able to detect the strength of Keon’s ability.

Leilah-

Leilah is Seraphina’s older sister and Narisa’s daughter. She is also the girlfriend of Wellston’s school doctor, Darren, and a project manager of the ability-researching company, ZetaSci. Despite being an adult, Leilah doesn’t shy away from doing silly things and is implied to be more laid-back and nonchalant compared to her younger sister.
