In the Hidden Inventory Arc which narrates Geto and Gojo’s time when they were students at Tokyo Jujutsu High. They clashed against Toji Fushiguro during their mission to bring Riko Amanai, whom Toji had to assassinate, to Tengen. After Toji seemingly killed Gojo, he and Geto fought ferociously.

Geto was a very powerful jujutsu sorcerer, even when he was only a student. His cursed technique, Cursed Spirit Manipulation, gave him the ability to absorb cursed spirits and take them in his arsenal to use later.

Toji, on the other hand, is an unique individual in the jujutsu world who doesn’t have one bit of cursed energy. Instead, he has a Heavenly Restriction which causes his physical abilities to far surpass that of a normal human, and even a jujutsu sorcerer.

Here’s how the Suguru Geto vs. Toji Fushiguro fight went:

After learning that Toji had killed Gojo, Geto initiated the first blow by summoning two powerful cursed spirits: the Rainbow Dragon and the Kuchisake-Onna.

Even when Toji was explaining his powers to Geto, he was easily able to cut through the Rainbow Dragon which was the strongest-skinned curse in Geto’s arsenal.

Then Toji was caught inside the Innate Domain of Kuchisake-Onna, who asked him whether she was pretty.

When he answered that she wasn’t his type, her cursed technique, that was numerous huge scissors, attacked him. But again, Toji could easily counter those with staggering speed with the Inverted Spear of Heaven.

Geto tried to take advantage of Toji being focused on the Kuchisake-Onna, an Imaginary Vengeful Spirit, and came from behind to capture Toji’s pet cursed spirit which stored his weapons.

However, he was unable to do so because Toji had already established a strong master-servant relationship with the curse, and thus it remained loyal to Toji in the face of Geto’s Cursed Spirit Manipulation.

After Geto failed to steal Toji’s cursed spirit, the assassin didn’t hesitate to strike back. He slashed two times to create a criss-cross on Geto’s chest, causing him to collapse on the ground.

Toji could’ve easily killed him, but chose not to because he wasn’t sure what would happen to all the cursed spirits Geto had under his control once he died.

Not wanting to deal with a mob of cursed spirits, Toji spared Geto’s life.

As we see clearly in the story, Toji Fushiguro was much stronger than Suguru Geto. Fighting him was no hardship for the assassin at all, and as it is evident, he didn’t even take Geto seriously. He fought overwhelmingly against Geto who didn’t stand a chance, granted that he was only a student during the fight.

It’s more difficult to say whether an adult Geto was stronger than Toji since he became more powerful over the years. But even then, Toji would’ve been the stronger one, even if by a little bit in comparison.
