My Hero Academia Chapter 409 Spoilers

Bakugo

The spoilers of My Hero Academia Chapter 409 are provided by Rukasu and ever on X. The title of the chapter is “Quirk!!! Explosion!!!”

  • The chapter begins with Bakugo’s birth and the next panels show him throughout the years.
  • The next double spread shows AFO launching his ultimate attack on Bakugo. All Might shouts for Bakugo to dodge but the boy remains standing in its way and shouts “Burst!”
  • Suddenly there is a massive explosion which causes AFO to fall on the ground. He’s confused because Bakugo hasn’t moved from his position.
  • Bakugo says he doesn’t need a lot of Quirks, Explosion is enough for him. AFO notices that the explosion has messed up his attack and he needs to reactivate it.
  • Another beautiful double-spread features Bakugo attacking AFO with Howitzer Impact.
  • The next double-spread continues with Bakugo’s relentlessly explosive attacks on AFO. He continues to overwhelm AFO with his explosions.
  • AFO notices that his Quirk Factors aren’t working properly and that’s not just because of the explosions. He wonders if it is because his body has turned too small and weak. That’s when it’s revealed that AFO’s body has reverted to a child’s in the vestige world.
  • In the vestige world, Hawks’ Quirk’s vestige suddenly shows up and explains that AFO’s overwhelming anger has caused him to lose control of his Quirks. He says that thanks to this, he could hold a fan meeting with the other vestiges of AFO’s Quirks fawning over him and that Shigaraki has ultimately led to AFO’s doom.
  • In the last double-spread, there is a huge explosion as Bakugo says he cannot defeat AFO alone and it is their story. AM, Shigaraki, and Bakugo’s parents look on. The chapter ends here.
