The spoilers for My Hero Academia Chapter 413 are out. In the previous chapter, we saw Deku’s determination to save the little afraid child inside Shigaraki even though everyone else is convinced that the Villain is beyond saving. Deku

The title of My Hero Academia Chapter 413 is “Lump of Lead.” The chapter begins where the previous chapter left off, with the vestige of Star and Stripes pointing at something. This chapter shows through her battle against the other vestiges inside All For One when she notices something unusual.

  • She points at a crack and says, “Master, there’s a sad child over there.” 
  • Elsewhere, All Might finally wakes up and has a vision. He recalls the last time he had such a vision but this time, Deku is far away from him. All Might wonders if OFA is getting frayed.
  • Back to the fight, Shigaraki wonders why he still sees a vision of Star and Stripes. Then he remembers her last words saying that Heroes inherit each other’s will. 
  • In the fight, he is thrown into the ground as he asks Kudo about letting go of OFA. Kudo explains that Shigaraki’s hatred, anger, and frustration against the world have taken the shape of a lump of lead inside him. But there is a crack.
  • Shigaraki fighting Star opened an emotional wound inside him that is still festering and they can take advantage of that by piling him with more Quirks from OFA. The more he has, the faster he’ll break.
  • En counters that giving Shigaraki OFA will only make him stronger. But Kudo explains that Deku needs to shove it onto Shigaraki instead of handing it to him. 
  • En says he should be the one stolen because his Smokescreen is the most useless in this situation but Kudo says Shigaraki will get a harder rebound than Deku after using Gearshift.
  • Kudo is prepared to be let go and tells Deku that he leaves the rest to him. The chapter ends with Shigaraki looking at Deku’s wild form and saying that Deku doesn’t look like a Hero anymore.
