With the debut of the new characters in Black Clover Sword of the Wizard Kings, we learned a lot about how powerful some of the previous Wizard Kings were. Along with that, we also saw the current strength level of the Magic Knights.
From all of the characters we have seen so far, today we will be talking about the strongest characters in Black Clover Sword of the Wizard King movie. This list might contain a few spoilers for people who haven’t watched the film, so make sure to watch the film.
Enough said, let us get ranking to the top 10 strongest characters in Black Clover Sword of the Wizard King movie. There were many strong characters in the film, but these characters stood out the most, compared to others.

Top 10 Strongest Characters in Black Clover: Sword Of The Wizard King
10) Nozel Silva
Nozel Silva is the Captain of the Silver Eagles squad and had a small role in the series. Initially, he was defeated by Conrad Leto and the other Wizard Kings and was trapped in the Colosseum.
Later, he helped out a bit during Yunos’s fight with Jester. He had successfully stalled Jester for a certain time, along with Fuegoleon and Yami. This led to Yuno unleashing his strongest attack on Jester.
9) Yami SukehiroÂ
Likewise, Yami also had a very short role in the movie. He was also one of the defeated Captains, during Conrad Leto’s first invasion along with the other Wizard Kings. He was no match to the power level of either of them.
But, even if he has less mana and strength, he still aids Yuno in his battle. He manages to put up a good fight with Jester. Even though he was a skilled swordsman, Jester went on par with him, while fighting against others too.
8) Yuno GrinberryallÂ
Yuno Grinberryall did have a decent role in the movie and also had a good showcase of his abilities. Even though at first he wasn’t able to fight on the level of Jester, he was able to strike him with his strongest attack.
Even this wasn’t enough to defeat the former Wizard King, who was way stronger than Yuno. It only led to Jester getting even more stronger, after getting enraged by Yuno’s attack.
7) Mereoleona Vermillion
Mereoleona had the most screen time, compared to the other Squad Captains in the movie. She played a very small role, during the initial capture of Conrad Leto, but that wasn’t enough to satisfy her fans.
Later in the movie, she fights against one of the Strongest and most beautiful Wizard Kings, Princia Funnybunny. Although she is easily overpowered at first, she manages to fight on par with Princia for a small time.  Â
6) Edward Avalache
Although Edward Avalache was one of the previous Wizard Kings, we hadn’t seen much of his strength in battle. He was going easy on the Black Bulls members, after learning that they are mostly commoners.
Even though he revealed his Mana Zone, we don’t know much about what it does. Except for the fact that it freezes anyone completely in an area, we do not know much about his other skills.
5) Asta
Although Asta’s anti-magic could cut through magic, some of the other characters in this list could easily oppose Asta. Conrad had completely overpowered Asta, during their first battle.
Even though Asta was able to defeat Conrad in the end, it was mostly due to the combined efforts of everyone’s mana and the Imperial Sword: Elsdocius. If not for it, he wouldn’t have been able to land the decisive blow on Conrad.
4) Jester Garandros
Jester Garandros was one of the previous Wizard Kings, who was resurrected by Conrad. He is a barrier-magic user, and his magic could prove to be quite a pain, for Asta to fight against.
His magic isn’t limited to defense alone, as he could use this for creating swords and other spells, and switch to an offense mode. Jester also fought against Yuno, Yami, Fuegoleon, and Nozel and was still winning.
This was also him not fighting at his true strength. Just when we thought Yuno had landed a decisive blow on him, he just became even more powerful, after consuming his barrier power from the area-wide spell.
3) Princia Funnybunny
Moving into the top 3 strongest characters in Black Clover Sword of the Wizard King movie, we have Princia Funnybunny. Her Legion magic in itself is very annoying, as she can keep on creating chess soldiers.
As if this isn’t enough, she is one of the strongest Wizard Kings, when it comes to fighting ability, raw strength, and power. Princia’s skills with the sword and her hand combat, are on a different level entirely.
Even if she is facing Asta’s anti-magic, she could easily overwhelm him with her speed, and raw power.
2) Julius Novachrono
Next up, we have the former Wizard King of the Clover Kingdom, Julius Novachrono. Although he was still a child, when the current events transpired, he was still a major reason behind the sealing of Conrad Leto.
Ten years before the movie takes place, Conrad was already fighting against the other Magic Knights and Julius Novachrono. Although Conrad had destroyed the other Magic Knights, Julius took this specific moment to seal Conrad forever. However, his spell had weakened after his death.
1) Conrad LetoÂ
Finally, we have our strongest character in the movie, Conrad Leto. His Key-magic is powerful on its own, and it was enough to defeat Asta, during their first fight. But, he is even more powerful than this, along with his Imperial Sword: Elsdocia.
If not for Asta and the others at the end, he would have been easily able to destroy the whole of Clover Kingdom. This shows his true strength, and how feared in battle he is.
