After the return of Bakugo, My Hero Academia has only gotten more interesting. As Bakugo faces against All For One, we are finally given a glimpse into the past of AFO and Yoichi. The next chapter will continue with that flashback, so the hype is pretty high. That’s why we don’t waste any more time and get right into My Hero Academia Chapter 408 spoilers and raw scans.

All For One and Yoichi

The spoilers of My Hero Academia Chapter 408 are provided by ever and Rukasu on X. According to the spoilers, the chapter title is “Eyes Full of Determination!!”

  • The chapter starts with AFO destroying Yoichi’s body, leaving only his hand as Kudo watches horrified. 
  • Back in his home, AFO is surprised to find the Quirk he gave Yoichi missing from his decapitated hand because it’s never happened before. As he wonders, he comes to the conclusion that the Quirk must have been passed on to someone else.
  • Elsewhere, the Third User of One For All, named Bruce, examines Kudo’s body and finds two Quirk factors: Kudo’s own Gearshift and a very weak unknown Quirk.
  • The next page shows two simultaneous mentalities of Yoichi and how they are connected to AFO and Kudo. In one part, he laments his inability to stop AFO who sees people as toys while also thinking that his brother kept him alive.
  • Kudo and AFO have the same conclusion: Yoichi lives on.
  • On the next page, AFO is shown to fight the other users of OFA, ending with All Might defeating him for the first time. During that time, the doctor stole AFO’s body from the morgue.
  • Back in the present, AFO wonders if Bakugo is a descendant of Kudo but that should be impossible because AFO killed all of Kudo’s family and every woman and child close to him.
  • AFO knows he can’t keep getting younger while fighting Bakugo because he has to keep his strength to possess Shigaraki, knowing that the boy will struggle. He decides to end both Bakugo and Shigaraki with one stone by using all of his Quirks at once.
  • AFO unleashes the amalgamation of his hundreds of Quirks just as Deku’s Vestige picks it up. Edgeshot also realizes this. AM comes to the conclusion that it is the final gamble for AFO as after this, he’ll revert back to a baby.
  • The chapter ends with Bakugo looking at the full power of AFO fearlessly with a smile, saying, “Are you stupid? There’s no way this dumb thing will win.”
