(Sukuna vs. Maki Continues) Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 253 Spoilers and Raw Scans

Sukuna has begun fighting another new enemy after his grand battle against Satoru Gojo. This time it is someone who doesn’t compete with him with jujutsu but with raw physical prowess. Maki Zenin has entered the battle and has already interested the King of Curses with her skills. How will the rest of the fight go? Maki

The colored title page of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 253 features Maki stabbing Sukuna through the chest. This chapter is the direct continuation of the last chapter.

  • Chapter 253 starts with a flashback where a few characters are asked who the strongest Grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer is. Kusakabe answered someone other than him or Usami. However, Mei Mei, Nanami, and even Gojo’s answers were Kusakabe.
  • Back to Sukuna vs. Maki, their intense battle continues and at one point Maki gets blown off by the impact of a thrown car. Ino takes this opportunity to attack Sukuna but Sukuna easily reads his moves and kicks him away.
  • The moment Sukuna notices that Ino doesn’t have Nanami’s weapon, Kusakabe attacks him with Nanami’s 7:3 Technique but Sukuna easily counters it.
  • Maki gets back into the battle. She realizes that even if Yuta survives, prolonging this battle will be dangerous, so she must end it quickly.
  • The narrator states, “After Gojo’s death, Kashimo, Higuruma, and Yuta entertained Sukuna with their gem-like talents in jujutsu. But Sukuna desired to fight Maki the most, the one who threw away her jujutsu for Heavenly Restrictions. The King of Curses was excited about this reality.”
  • Maki slices off pillars and throws them at Sukuna but he evades them and grabs Maki’s face. He praises her for not being middling like Yuji and throwing off everything, bringing true nothingness.
  • Maki notices that Sukuna is no longer healing himself with RCT. His attack tears off a part of her face and he declares this fight will determine which is more worthy to polish: jujutsu or physical power. He’s excited because this is the first time someone has placed such a heavy duty on him.
  • Sukuna hits Maki with Black Flash! 
  • Now the only one left standing is Kusakabe and he realizes he must fight Sukuna alone now. But can Kusakabe defeat the King of Curses?
