(Sukuna’s Trial Begins) Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 244 Spoilers and Raw Scans

The death of Satoru Gojo has undeniably changed the probability of advantage for jujutsu sorcerers. However, it is becoming very evident that the jujutsu sorcerers didn’t put all their hopes on Gojo’s shoulders and had some plans of their own. Yuji & Higuruma vs. Sukuna

The spoilers of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 244 reveal that the chapter is titled “The Decisive Battle in Shinjuku Part 16.” This chapter brings the focus back to Sukuna’s battle against the jujutsu sorcerers.

  • The entire chapter is used as a prelude to the actual fight between Sukuna and the tag team of Yuji and Higuruma. In this chapter, the jujutsu sorcerers are seen making plans about how to handle Kenjaku and Sukuna in a flashback.
  • In the meeting, it was decided that Yuta would be taking care of Kenjaku after diverting the attention of the ancient curse user. Once done killing Kenjaku, Yuta was to return to Shinjuku immediately. But this scenario would be only applicable if Gojo lost.
  • Noritoshi Kamo was also present in the meeting and announced that he wouldn’t be participating in the fight and would be leaving the country with his family. It was also revealed in the meeting that Miwa can no longer swing her sword after her Binding Vow in Shibuya.
  • It was decided that Higuruma would be going against Sukuna after Kashimo. He and Yuji made plans on which crimes Sukuna should be charged with. Yuji revealed that every time Sukuna switched bodies, he committed numerous crimes including several murders and attempted murders.
  • Back in the present, Mei Mei tries to use her crows against Sukuna but they’re destroyed instantly. After that, Yuji and Higuruma finally join the fight. 
  • Higuruma uses his huge hammer to break Sukuna’s stance and then binds his weapon with a cloth as Yuji lands a shockingly powerful hit on Sukuna. The lawyer then opens his Domain Expansion and the trial of Sukuna begins.
  • Editor’s comment: “Will they turn the tables!? The desperate courtroom battle now begins!!”

On Sunday, December 3, 2023, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 244 will be released digitally on the official platforms of Shueisha: Manga Plus and Viz Media. However, the timing of the release will not be the same everywhere in the world because of the time difference between the various time zones.
