(Yuta’s Domain Revealed) Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 249 Spoilers and Raw Scans

The spoilers and raw scans of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 249 are finally out! In the previous chapter, we saw Sukuna and Yuji tread blows until Yuta joins the fight. Sukuna vs. Yuta is one of the most anticipated fights of the series with Yuta being the only one capable of countering Sukuna after Gojo. What happens next? Let’s find out!

Sukuna vs. Yuta

The 21st part of the Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 249 is the continuation of the last chapter with Yuta entering the battlefield against Sukuna.

  • This chapter ends with Yuta’s flashback of the time he beheaded Kenjaku. After doing that, all the cursed spirits under the Cursed Spirit Manipulation technique were released and killed by Rika.
  • Even after being beheaded, Kenjaku was still alive and asked Kogane to add a rule that gave Megumi the authority to initiate Tengen’s merger with humanity. Yuta stabbed Kenjaku’s brain, finally killing him.
  • Back in the present, Yuta notices Sukuna regaining the Reverse Cursed Technique and he’ll soon be able to use his Domain Expansion. Yuta regrets that he didn’t join the Sukuna raid team from the beginning. But he knows that he had to be the one to kill Kenjaku because no one could’ve dealt with the released curses without Rika.
  • When Sukuna catches the sword Yuta swings at him, Yuta punches the curse’s stomach where his other mouth is located. Yuta finally opens his DE. It’s called “Genuine Mutual Love.”
  • Sukuna uses Hollow Wicker Basket to protect himself from the domain while Yuta takes this chance to attack Sukuna with Thin Ice Breaker, a technique he copied from Uro.
  • Yuta is determined to end the fight within his domain. Sukuna is injured on his face. He recognizes Yuta from Megumi’s memories and also finally grasps their plan. 
  • Yuta plans to make use of the sure-hit effect of his domain to seal Sukuna’s other arms and mouth by letting him continually use Hollow Wicker Basket. Then Yuji will use his unique power to hit Sukuna’s soul with his punch and rip him off Megumi’s body.
  • The chapter ends with Sukuna mocking Yuji over finally having a role.
