Heaven Official’s Blessing is an interesting anime based on a Chinese web novel of the same name. It’s about a forgotten god, Xie Lian, who used to be a big deal in the past and was the Crown Prince of Xianle. 

As Xie Lian sets out on his first mission after his third ascension to heaven, he meets a beautiful man in red who guides him through the forest at night before disappearing in thin air, leaving behind a swarm of silver butterflies.

Xie Lian later finds out that the man in the red was Hua Cheng, the Crimson Rain Sought Flower, who is a formidable ghost king. Xie Lian realizes Hua Cheng knows more than he lets on and is even more surprised when the man decides to accompany him on his journey.

3) Bloom Into You

Though Yuu has always loved romance and spent her time daydreaming about her own imminent love life, she finds herself out of depth when someone actually confesses to her. She can’t answer the confession and realizes she knows nothing about love.

Though the time they spend together is brief, it leaves a lasting impression on both.

Three years after that, Mio returns to Okinawa and confesses his feelings to Shun. Though Shun also loves him, life has gotten more complicated in the three years. Kakegurui is a show about a prestigious high school that teaches its students high-stake gambling. The show is full of psychological manipulations and over-the-top gambling scenes. The second story is about a university professor, Hiroki Kamijou and his student, Nowaki Kusama, who gradually comes closer. The last story follows the wealthy teenager, Shinobu Takatsuki, who falls in love with his sister’s ex-husband, You Miyagi.

2) Aria The Scarlet Ammo

Dropout from the elite detective academy, Tokyo Butei High, Kinji Tooyama’s leisurely life is disturbed when the infamous Butei Killer targets him. He’s saved by the academy’s brightest student, Aria Holmes Kanzaki, who wants to partner with him after witnessing Kinji’s special power.

3) Antique Bakery

When Yusuke Ono confesses to his crush, Keiichiro Tachibana in high school, he’s rejected instantly. 14 years have passed since then and Ono has come to become a world-class pastry chef and a playboy with numerous lovers. 4) Azur Lane

In the middle of a war against an extraterrestrial race, four countries, Eagle Union, Royal Navy, Sakura Empire and Iron-Blood, make an alliance to fight the war. This alliance is named Azur Lane. But opposing ideals force two countries to exit the alliance and form another alliance of their own, called Red Axis.

The story features the war against the aliens and though it doesn’t have explicit LGBTQ elements, it has several homoerotic moments among the female characters.

Ryuma is a successful actor now and reveals that he’s been in love with Izumi since the commercial. But the twist is that he thinks Izumi is a girl because of his androgynous appearance and unisex name. Izumi informs him that he’s a boy but it seems Ryuma’s love is too strong to care for gender.

1) Revolutionary Girl Utena

Revolutionary Girl Utena is one of the irrefutable best LGBTQ anime of all time. It revolves around Utena Tenjou, a girl who has a rose-engraved ring, given to her by a prince whose gift saved her from depression. Since then she has always wanted to be like him.

After enrolling in Ootori Academy which has the same rose crest as her ring, Utena meets Anthy Himemiya who seems to be trapped inside a cruel fate as the Rose Bride. Now is Utena’s chance to fulfill her dream of becoming a prince while saving the beautiful Anthy.

2) Gravitation

Gravitation is about Shuichi Shindou who’s in a band called Bad Luck with his best friend, Hiro. After getting their first recording contract, Shuichi is overjoyed but can’t seem to find the inspiration to finish the lyrics of their new song.

While on a stroll to search for inspiration, his lyrics sheet is blown away by the wind and falls within the hands of a handsome man. The man criticizes the lyrics and brutally tells off Shuichi as talentless.

Fuming with indignation, Shuichi finishes the lyrics and wants to show off to the man. But is hatred all he has for the man or are there more amorous feelings in his heart?

3) Sweet Blue Flowers

When old friends, Fumi Manjoume and Akira Okudaira, reunite in high school, they discover their personalities and friendship have changed since then. 4) Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi – World’s Greatest First Love
