As Iruma kun navigates through the various oddities of the demon world, it often leads to many comical and embarrassing situations. Here, we will take a look at the Top 40 strongest characters in Welcome to Demon School! Iruma kun.

Top 40 Strongest Characters in Iruma kun

40) Orabas Coco

Orobas Coco was introduced as one of the minor antagonists in the Harvest Festival Arc. A student at Babyls Academy, he is a very serious person who is very dedicated to his goals.

Coco has one of the unique Bloodline abilities: Trauma. This lets him inflict their opponents with some of their greatest fears. Orobas can use this ability to show very effective illusions that trap his opponent.

39) Valac Clara

Valac Clara is one of the cutest characters in the series, as well as an Idol. She has all the attributes for being a cute Idol loved by everyone.

Even without this, she has a powerful Bloodline Ability Summon. With this alone, she can be called one of the strongest characters in Iruma kun. Her ability lets her summon any item or even person. As of now, there are no limits to this power and the objects she can summon.

38) Ix Elizabetta

Ix Elizabetta is one of the most beautiful and sexiest characters in Iruma kun. Along with this, she also has a decent amount of power to be called one of the strongest characters in Iruma kun.

Her Bloodline ability Favorability, lets her attract men towards her, who keep trying to gain her favor. She further trained herself to control this ability better, and she can now control more men effectively.

37) Purson Soi

Purson Soi is one of the minor characters in Babyls Academy, also studying in the same class as Iruma kun. Initially starting with a Rank: 2 Beth, he reached Rank: 4 Daleth with his power.

Soi’s Bloodline ability is unique, as it is Anti-Recognition. He is unable to gain any attention in his school or anywhere else, for that matter. In the rare case someone recognizes him, he can instantly vaporize and appear somewhere as if he teleports.

36) Ronove Lomiere

Ronove Lomieri is one of the students at Babyls Academy and is of the same rank as Iruma kun. He is also among one of the strongest characters in Rank: 5 He.

His Bloodline ability lets him draw out the charisma or attention of anyone in an area. This lets him launch a surprise attack on his opponents pretty effectively.

35) Amy Kiriwo

Kiriwo is a third-year student at Babyls and the head of Magical Apparatus Battler. He has one of the darkest and most twisted personalities ever.

He is a sadist who loves to see others in despair. Since childhood, he had a weak affinity for magic and often coughed out blood while casting spells.

Though a Rank 2: Beth, he inherited the powerful barrier magic of his family, giving him zero offense skills but 100% defense skills.

He was the one who decided to destroy Babyls and is secretly working with Baal to destroy the current order in the demon world. His barriers can regenerate and can only be destroyed by Rank 10: Yod class demon.

Iruma was able to break through his barriers only by unleashing the true potential of Sullivan’s magic stored in his ring. Kiriwo considers Iruma his arch-nemesis and, in the current arc, is one of the main antagonists.

34) Belial-Berry Razberry

Belial-Berry Razberry is the grandson of Lord Belial, one of the Three Greats. He is equally powerful to Leviathan Leiji. However, right now, he is at rank He (5), the same as Iruma.

He has one of the coolest familiars, Greater Demon, which has dice, cards, dice, poker chips, diamond rings, and roulette all over the body.

33) Sabnock Sabro

He is one of the demons of the Abnormal Class and is Iruma’s classmate. He is a highly muscular bloke whose only ambition in life is to be the next Demon King and believes that his every action, no matter how silly, is necessary to achieve this ambition.

On the very first day of the enrollment ceremony, he attacked a teacher to showcase his strength. Sabro possesses immense physical strength and agility.

He inherited his Bloodline Magic: Weapon Creation, which allows him to forge a weapon through any metal within a matter of minutes. Currently, he possesses Rank 4: Daleth.

32) Asmodeus Alice

Asmodeus Alice is one of the main characters in this story. Initially, in the series, he was portrayed as a brash fellow who challenged Iruma to a duel on the very first day of school.

On losing to Iruma, there is a 180-degree change in his behavior, and he becomes a loyal companion of Iruma. His only desire is to be the right-hand man of Iruma and always be by his side.

He is immensely powerful, and his mother is a member of the ’13 Crowns’- a body of powerful demons who control the demon world.

Alice can manipulate fire and can cast very powerful spells. His powerful flames offer him both offensive and defensive capabilities. Presently, he possesses Rank 5: He.

31) Leviathan Leiji 

Leviathan Leiji is the grandson of Lady Levione, one of the Three Greats. Along with this, he is also one of the candidates for the next Demon King. Also, he has the highest rank among all three candidates, i.e., Vav (6).

He has a very powerful serpent-like Water Dragon Familiar. It can manipulate water and provide great offense as well as defense to Leiji.

30) Iruma Suzuki (with Ali)

Iruma is the main hero of this story. He is a person who can never say ‘no’ and ends up helping others no matter the situation. Owing to his rough childhood, he has developed an ‘Overwhelming Crisis Evasion Capability,’ which helps him to avoid danger at any cost.

It is his ultimate defense technique that makes it almost impossible to hit Iruma. Though a human in a world full of demons, his blood is a highly valuable commodity.

His blood can heal wounds and accelerate growth at monstrous velocity. He also possesses the ‘Ring of Gluttony’, which allows him to use Lord Sullivan’s deadly powers.

His spells like ‘pandora’ and ‘liberal’ are to watch out for. Under the training of Master Baciko, he has become a talented archer. He currently possesses Rank 5: He.

29) Azazel Ameri

She is the President of the Student Council at Babyls High School. She has a strong, intimidating presence and is a strict disciplinarian. Azazel has a cold exterior and hides her love for romance novels from everyone.

Her aim is one day to assist her father in the Demon Border Control. She is a highly ambitious girl who instills the desire to climb the ranks in Iruma. Ameri is Rank 6: Vav and is immensely powerful.

She inherited the Azazel family bloodline magic: ‘Delusions,’ which helps them to draw out enormous strength without restraints only if they believe they possess it. She helped Opera to take down the miscreants in the Walter Park Arc.

28) Marbas March

Marbas March is the Torture Arts teacher in Babyls. Although introduced early in the series, like the other teachers, not enough spotlight was put on him until the Heartbreaker Arc, where he showed how scary he can be when he captured Andro.

Marbas looks very unsuspecting, but once he gets his hands on you, it’s over. With his extensive knowledge of the art of torture, he can paralyze his enemy through a slow and painful process. We haven’t seen the full extent of his abilities since he was holding back with Andro, but even that was frightening.

27) Morax Momonoki

Morax Momonoki is one of the professors at Babyls Academy. She can use transfiguration and teaches the same to all of the students.

She can also use multiple magic spells at once due to her power. Her Master of All Trades ability lets her use any kind of magic and understand fully about them.

26) Vepar

She is one of the professors at Babyls High School. She was tasked to train Agares and Gaap of the Abnormal Class during the Harvest Festival Arc. Vepar is a highly shy person who always keeps crying.

Her tears are the source of her power, as her bloodline magic gives her water manipulation abilities. She forms powerful currents of water using these abilities.

25) Mister Hat

Like Furfur, Mister Hat is also one of the prestigious professors at Babyls High School. He is one of the most experienced teachers who knows how to tame any beast.

In the series, he taught Caim and Kerori how to communicate and tame the most dangerous beasts. Undoubtedly, he is also one of the strongest characters in Iruma the series.

24) Sergeant Furfur

Sergeant Furfur, the war hero, is one of the professors at Babyls High School. He was tasked to train Allocer and Jazz of the Abnormal Class during the Harvest Festival Arc.

He possesses extraordinary agility and a sleight of hand, which comes into play during gambling. The true nature of his powers is yet to be revealed.

23) Stolas Suzy

Stolas Suzy is one teacher who is often seen throughout the series. She is usually the event coordinator with Dali, along with being the Diabotany teacher at the school.

Suzy yields plant magic, and most of her abilities are related to nature in some way. She can use non-verbal spells to grow strong vines, capable of stopping any rowdy fights in the school, even if it’s between high-ranking students like Azz and Sabnock. She can also summon various deadly plants like Giant Daffodils that spit bullets, Morning Glories that are capable of strangling their prey, and grass that can tie and restrict moment.

22) Atori

Atori is one of the members of the Six Hands and is one of the most powerful members. His strength is said to be on par with Balam Shinichiro.

This means that he has super strength and very fast reflexes, along with enhanced speed. Atori is also a Spider Demon and can create webs that can easily trap his opponents. This grants him a huge advantage in fights, and he can finish off his trapped opponents with his strength.

21) Orias Oswell

Orias Oswell, the Astrology teacher at Babyls, teamed up with Ipos to defeat Atori after he revealed his true colors during the Heartbreaker arc. It seems like the two often pair up since their abilities go well together.

Orias’s bloodline magic grants him immense luck and can extend to those near his vicinity. As long as there is a chance, luck will always go in his favor. He usually has a grin on his face to mask his real emotions.

20) Ipos Ichou

Ipos Ichou is another one of the staff of Babyls. He is the Tactics teacher, and his Bloodline Ability reflects that. It can pull anyone whose face he can see towards himself, after which he can give the enemy a dose of thorough beating.

Of course, being a Babyls teacher means he is adept at various advanced offensive magic. His Grand Fractal allows him to concentrate mana in his fists and punch with a force enough to pierce the ground. He can also conjure giant iron cages to trap his enemies.

19) Other Six Fingers

Presently, in the ongoing arc ‘Six Fingers,‘ a group of 6 powerful miscreants is the main antagonist under the direct command of Kirio.

The mastermind of this group is Baal, and its members are Atori, Hyudarin, Maemaro, Miki, Shiida, and Wett. They all are equally powerful. Among them, the series has revealed only Shiida and Atori’s power.

18) Bars Robin

The hyperactive, childish teacher at Babyls, Bars Robin, teaches about familiars. He was the juniormost teacher until Shiida arrived at the school. Kalego respects his strength but has a hard time dealing with him because of his immature personality.

Being from a side family of the Barbatos clan, Robin, too, is an archer. He wields a fiery bow shaped like a phoenix and is an excellent marksman. His bloodline ability allows him to pierce through every obstacle, which cannot be stopped until it reaches its target.

17) Dantalion Dali

Dantalion Dali, the kind-looking teacher who is also the seniormost staff at Babyls. He teaches Demonic History and also serves as the Teaching Supervisor of the Academy. He mentored Kalego.

Much of Dali’s abilities are a mystery, but there is no doubt that he is an extremely powerful individual. Going by experience alone, every teacher at Babyls is under him. Usually cheerful and kind, his wicked phase is said to be so bad that he is forced to take a leave every time it occurs.

16)  Shiida

Shiida is a member of Six Fingers who infiltrated Babyls with Atori. During this arc, she showed a glimpse of her raw strength against Iruma.

She easily defeated him. Her fighting style is similar to Opera. She only believes in raw strength, speed, and reflexes. Presently, we haven’t seen her full potential yet. That’s why we have ranked her in the 15th position.

15) Ifrit Djinn Eito

Ifrit was another pleasant surprise during the Heartbreaker arc. He works as part of the security at Babyls. He is a confident demon who may appear nonchalant at first but gets fired up whenever he engages in a battle.

Ifrit can wield the flames of the demon Ifrit, and his fire magic is said to be the best in the Netherworld. Even when he wasn’t fighting at full strength, Azz’s flames couldn’t match his, although he expressed his frustration at Kalego keeping Azz at rank 4 when he clearly surpassed it.

14) Balam Shichiro

Balam, the Gargoyle, is also one of the strongest demons in the Iruma kun series. It is said that both Balam and Kalego are best friends and equally powerful.

He is one of the professors at Babyls High School. Despite his terrifying looks, he has a gentle heart. He is extremely fascinated by the human world or any unknown mystical creatures. 

On discovering that Iruma is a human, he helped him to understand the oddities of the demon world and helped him from time to time. He uses both brawn and brain to fight battles. 

His bloodline magic: Buzzer helps him to sense any kinds of lies or wrongdoings. He possesses a Rank 8: Chet in the demon ranking system. Balam’s magic allows him to control and manipulate forests and trees. 

13) Naberius Kalego

Naberius Kalego is one of the strongest demons in the Iruma kun series. He is one of the professors at Babyls High School and also the homeroom teacher of the abnormal class. 

He is a powerful demon and currently possesses the Rank 8: Chet. We have seen his overall abilities, from teaching to singing, numerous times.  Adding up his magic attributes and his rank, we can safely say that Naberius is in the top 5 strongest characters in Iruma kun. 

He was the only demon whose magic was able to destroy Kirio’s barriers, though only momentarily. His familiar Cerberus Butte is immensely powerful and can destroy anything in its path.

12) Belzebuth Zebubra

Zebubra was one of the potential candidates to be a new member of the Thirteen Crowns, though she wasn’t chosen. She is also known as the Dithering King.

As a former candidate, she is fairly powerful but not as much as Mephisto. She can explode anything she touches and made quick work of the krakens when they attacked the misfits during their time at the beach.

11) Opera

Opera is the right-hand man and the most trusted companion of Lord Sullivan. He is responsible for the security of Lord Sullivan and also takes care of Sullivan’s household.

Before this, he was a student at Babyls High School. He was the senior of Kalego and Balam sensei. Opera possesses immense strength and sharp reflexes. During the Walter Park arc, he defended the students single-handedly with ease.

10) Barbatos Bachiko

Barbatos Bachiko is one of the candidates for a potential 13 crown member. Her entire Barbatos family is very proficient in Archery, which shows in her Bloodline ability.

She is also appointed as Iruma’s tutor, appointed by Lord Sullivan. This explains that her talent and skills were also recognized by one of the most powerful Rank 9: Tet Lord Sullivan.

9) Naberius Narnia

Naberius Narnia is Kalego’s older brother and the next-in-line of the Naberius clan. He works at the Border Patrol agency.

Narnia is an extremist who wants to create a Netherworld full of chaos and is currently working with Baal. His Cerberion, a hellhound who appears in the form of a massive wolf, holds unbelievable amount of strength. He is said to be stronger than Kalego.

8) Mephisto

Mephisto is one of the newly appointed Thirteen Crowns. He is known as the Board Games King.

His face was hidden during the Deviculum and was revealed when he met the misfits during their beach vacation. Not much is known about his abilities except the fact that he didn’t even have to lift a finger to destroy the Krakens who attacked them. Thankfully, for now, he seems to be on Iruma’s side. It seems that he will soon become an important part of the story.

7) Old Thirteen Crowns (Excluding the three greats and others mentioned separately) 

The Thirteen Crowns is the governing council of the Netherworld which comprises the most powerful demons of the society.

The current members of the Thirteen Crowns are known to be all incredibly powerful. However, there are few who haven’t revealed any of their abilities yet, so we can’t judge who may be stronger than who. Additionally, the Thirteen Crowns excel in different fields, so we can’t put the strength of one ability over another. That’s why we have placed the rest in the same ranking.

These members include Belzebuth, Azazel Henri, Paimon, Astaroh, and Amaymon. As the story progresses further, one has to wait to know the true extent of their powers.

6) Asmodeus Amaryllis

One of the strongest Thirteen Crowns holding the 9th rank [Tet], Asmodeus Amaryllis is known as the Head of the Lust in the Netherworld. She is Alice’s affectionate mother, who has a soft spot for Iruma, too.

Amu-chan usually appears playful and flirtatious but can quickly drop her cheerful personality to reveal something much more sinister. Her menacing aura is strong enough for Opera to back off and she even slapped Narnia when he scared Iruma during the Deviculum. She hasn’t revealed most of her abilities yet, but she is undoubtedly one of the strongest in the Netherworld.

5) Baal

The overarching antagonist of the series, Baal is the head of the Demon Reformation and also one of the Thirteen Crowns. He has the title of the Thunder Lord and is also known as the “Tactitian of the South.”

Baal can wield and manipulate electricity. He hasn’t shown the extent of his offensive abilities, but he is an incredibly clever and charming demon. His underlings were able to recruit Poro, and he currently holds Princess Shura’s favor after he manipulated the situation at the Deviculum.

4) Barbatos Clan President

Barbatos Clan President is also one of the strongest characters in Iruma kun. Currently, we don’t know about his name and identity, but according to Baal, he is far more powerful than the current Thirteen Crowns. 

Baal wanted to meet him, but Barbatos Bachiko was appointed as a member of The Thirteen Crowns. She also reveals that the President will only arrive during wars.

3) Amduscias Poro

Amdusicias Poro is a legendary demon who once stalled the enemy troops for 666 hours with a concert. No doubt, he is one of the strongest characters in Iruma kun. He served under Delkira along with Sullivan.

During the music festival, he warned Sullivan that he might eliminate him. It shows how powerful he is. He has the most powerful music magic.

Presently, the series hasn’t unveiled his true power, and we are pretty sure that he is on the level of Three Great Demons. Even then, his history and nature alone make him one of the strongest characters in Iruma kun.

2) Three Great Demons

The Three Great Demons are currently the strongest in the Netherworld. These three great demons are Lord Sullivan, Lord Belial, and  Lady Levi. 

The three of them hold the second-highest rank of Tet, but their power is equivalent to Yodh (10), and they are candidates for the position of Next Demon king, the Lord of the entire Netherworld. The Three Greats are the strongest Iruma kun characters, coming right after Demon King Delkira.

Lord Sullivan is one of the most powerful and influential demons in the Netherworld. He hides his menacing personality underneath his jolly and eccentric side. All the demons in the Netherworld think thrice before angering him.

Sullivan served Delkira, the previous Demon King, during his reign. He is an enormous storehouse of power and knowledge. He has a strong affinity for magic and possesses the ability to manipulate time and gravity.

Lord Belial is one of ‘The Great Three’ along with Lady Levi and Lord Sullivan, who possess the second-highest Rank 9: Tet. He is one of the candidates for the next Demon King.

He is one of the most influential and powerful demons in the Netherworld. The true nature of his powers is yet to be revealed.

Lady Levi is one of ‘The Great Three’ along with Lord Belial and Lord Sullivan. She is one of the candidates for the next Demon King. Like Lord Belial, the true nature of her powers is yet to be revealed.

1) Delkira

Delkira is the strongest character in the Iruma kun series. He was the previous Demon King who had been missing for many centuries. In the manga, it is known that he possessed the highest rank of Yodh.

However, the nature and extent of his powers are not yet revealed. This instantly makes him the strongest character in Iruma kun on this list. 

The series showed that Sullivan and Amduscias Poro, the two strongest demons, were served under Delkira, the previous Demon King. No one is equal to his strength.
